Good NEWS
(From the 25/9/09, after a lot of effort to get the Aradippou Municipality to agree, our Association took over Aradippou Dog Shelter in order to save the dogs from euthanasia. Ever since it has the responsibility of the shelter and dogs are not put to sleep. They are taken care of by Members the Committee of Larnaca-Famagusta Association for the Protection of Animals and Birds (ACS) until they are rehomed- That is why we need volunteers to help us help these animals) Since the 25/9we managed to rehomehundreds ofdogs.

Directions to Aradippou Shelter
From the NEW AIRPORT, AYIA NAPA or NICOSIA (on the highway):
- at the large RIZOELIA highway junction/roundabout
- Take the exit towards LARNACA (Town Centre)
- Go straight.
- At the first traffic lights you come to, turn left
- Follow the road until you come to a STOP sign (1st shelter sign dark blue)
- Turn left and follow the road
- At the next STOP sign, go straight ahead (2nd shelter sign)
- Follow the road for about 2 km (after the first 1.5km you pass under the motorway)
- After a sharp right hand bend in the road (3rd shelter sign), turn right following the sign
- Follow the road uphill and the shelter is in front of you (joined to Technical Services Dimos Aradippou)
From LARNACA town centre:
- Follow the road out of Larnaca, direction of Nicosia
- Go straight at the Industrial Area Aradippou roundabout
- Then at the first traffic lights you come to, turn right
- Follow the road until you come to a STOP sign (1st shelter sign dark blue)
- Turn left and follow the road
- At the next STOP sign, go straight ahead (2nd shelter sign)
- Follow the road for about 2 km (after the first 1.5km you pass under the motorway)
- After a sharp right hand bend in the road (3rd shelter sign), turn right following the sign
- Follow the road uphill and the shelter is in front of you (joined to Technical Services Dimos Aradippou)
Visiting hours (summer): Weekdays: 16.00 18.00 Sat + Sun: 11.00 15.00
